Large Seated Ganesh

Lord Ganesha, kind and generous, holds the lotus of enlightenment, the hatchet of karma, sweets of wisdom and makes a blessing gesture to his followers. As the son of Shiva and Parvati, the God of the life-force and the the earth-mother, his wisdom allows us to see all as one and ourselves an integral part of the whole. With this chant, Aum Ganeshaya Namah, he is usually remembered before starting any rituals for other Hindu deities.
